Acer Launches TravelMate P6 14 Ai Copilot+ Laptop

Acer has introduced its new TravelMate P6 14 Ai laptop, offering high performance and Ai-powered features for businesses. This Windows 11 Pro laptop is designed for mobility, weighing under 1kg, and is built to meet the needs of commercial organisations. Powered by Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2), the laptop boasts up to 120 TOPS Ai performance, all housed in a carbon fibre chassis.

With Intel Core Ultra processors, the TravelMate P6 14 Ai provides the power to combine Ai tools, software, and built-in security in a lightweight design.”

Expansive Display for Immersive Viewing

The TravelMate P6 14 Ai features a 14-inch WQXGA+ (2,880×1,800) display or a WUXGA (1,920×1,200) panel with IPS technology, offering bright, sharp visuals with 400 nit brightness and 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut. The 16:10 aspect ratio and 82 per cent screen-to-body ratio provide a more immersive viewing experience.

Powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, the laptop includes up to 48 TOPS NPU Ai performance, 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory, and a 65 Wh battery. These features ensure seamless multitasking, long battery life, and improved Ai processing. The laptop also includes next-gen Intel Arc graphics for Ai creation tasks and high-speed PCIe Gen4 SSD storage.

The keyboard is designed for quiet, comfortable typing with a 1.55mm travel distance, and it includes a microphone mute key for quick access.

Advanced Ai Tools for Productivity

Acer has integrated several Ai-powered tools into the TravelMate P6 14 Ai. The Acer Experience Zone, accessible through the TravelMate Sense app, provides access to these features. One of the key tools is Acer Assist, an Ai virtual assistant that can summarise documents, answer technical queries, and troubleshoot without sending data off the device.

Acer LiveArt 2.0 allows users to easily remove backgrounds from images and generate depth maps for 2D photos. The laptop also supports GIMP and Intel’s Stable Diffusion plugin, enabling users to create illustrations with minimal effort.

Acer QuickPanel automatically launches when the camera is activated, allowing users to adjust camera and microphone settings on the fly. For video calls and livestreaming, Acer PurifiedView 2.0 provides Ai-powered features like Portrait Refinement and Gentle Lighting, optimising lighting, colour, and resolution for a more professional appearance. Combined with a triple microphone array, Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 enhances audio by reducing background noise and improving the speaker’s voice clarity.

Copilot+ Ai experiences will also be available through free updates to the TravelMate P6 14 Ai later this year.

Security, Durability, and Connectivity

The TravelMate P6 14 Ai prioritises security with a QHD IR camera for biometric login and a privacy shutter to protect users from potential security threats. Acer User Sensing technology uses an Ai sensor to detect the user’s presence, automatically locking the screen when they leave and waking it when they return. Acer ProShield Plus provides additional security features, such as file encryption and USB device filters.

Built for durability, the laptop is MIL-STD 810H certified, meaning it can withstand harsh conditions. Acer Dust Defender technology helps prevent dust buildup that can affect performance. On the connectivity front, the laptop offers Wi-Fi 7 for fast internet speeds and Bluetooth 5.4 for improved audio and accessibility. The device also includes USB 4 Type-C with Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, supporting a variety of peripherals.

Sustainable Design and Business Support

Acer’s TravelMate P6 14 Ai is designed with sustainability in mind. Recycled materials are used in its construction and packaging. The laptop is EPEAT-registered and TCO 10 certified, meeting the highest standards for environmental sustainability.

To support business needs, Acer has included several management tools. The TravelMateSense software allows businesses to optimise workflows, manage security, and access technical support with a single click. The “Workflow” feature consolidates commonly used functions into specific work scenarios, while “Secure Guard” provides advanced security features to protect against threats. The “Checkup” feature enables businesses to monitor the health of the laptop’s components and ensure optimal performance.

Acer Office Manager provides businesses with a centralised platform to manage IT assets and monitor resources without the need for dedicated IT staff.
