Asus has launched its latest Intel-powered laptop, the Zenbook S 14, in Australia and New Zealand, as part of its 2024 Ai PC lineup. This new release aims to provide Australian and New Zealand consumers with cutting-edge Ai technology in a sleek, lightweight package. Pre-orders are available from today at JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks, and the Asus E-shop in Australia, and JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman in New Zealand.
The Zenbook S 14 is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor (Series 2), enhancing its performance while offering up to 27 hours of battery life. Asus has designed the device to cater to a broad range of users, from students to professionals and creatives, making it a versatile tool for those who need both portability and power.

Fusion of Technology and Design
The Zenbook S 14 comes in Zumia Grey, weighing 1.2 kg and measuring just 1.1 cm in thickness. The laptop’s body is made from Ceraluminum, a high-tech material combining the lightness and hardness of ceramic with the flexibility of metal. This innovation offers scratch resistance and durability, making it Asus’ slimmest 14” Ai PC to date.
Asus has also reimagined the air vents, incorporating a 3D-lattice ventilation grille design for improved airflow and heat dissipation. The laptop’s enlarged touchpad reduces noise by 20 per cent compared to previous models, offering a quieter and more responsive clicking experience.
Power and Ai Features
Despite its slim form, the Zenbook S 14 delivers significant power with its Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, achieving 47 TOPS with the neural processing unit (NPU). The laptop is part of the Intel Evo platform, offering instant wake-up, fast WiFi, and high battery efficiency.
A dedicated Copilot Key provides users with easy access to Ai features such as Co-Create for generating pictures and live captions, without requiring internet connectivity. These Ai experiences make the Zenbook S 14 an accessible tool for everyday users.
Asus also introduced the StoryCube and MuseTree apps. StoryCube helps users manage digital assets, offering Ai assistance for scene categorisation and clip generation. MuseTree allows users to generate images through simple interactions, helping creatives streamline their workflow.

The Zenbook S 14 is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, supporting fast charging, 4K external displays, and up to 40 Gbps data transfers. The USB-C Easy Charge feature allows the laptop to charge with a wide range of standard 5-20V USB-C chargers, including the 65-watt fast-charge adapter that comes with the device.
