Colorful Technology has unveiled the Rimbook L1, an ultraportable laptop for users on a budget.
The launch marks the entry of Colorful into a broader notebook category beyond its established gaming and component hardware, with the company pitching the new model at content creators and professionals seeking flexibility on the go. It’s components however, are a few generations behind and would struggle with tough, multimedia tasks.
Designed With Mobility In Mind
The Rimbook series draws its name from the rim of a wheel, which the company says symbolises forward momentum and continuous motion.
“The Rimbook is designed to support dynamic lifestyles,” the company said in a statement. “It empowers every move – a device built to fuel your momentum, wherever your journey takes you.”
With a chassis measuring 18mm in thickness and weighing 1.7KG, the Rimbook L1 includes a 15.6-inch Full HD display, a quad-core Intel Core i5-12450H processor and Intel UHD Graphics. It comes with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD with support for storage expansion.
