Acer Rolls Out 10th Annual Acer Day With Laptop And Monitor Discounts Across Australia

Acer is running its 10th annual Acer Day promotion across Australia this August, bringing discounted pricing to a range of laptops, gaming devices and monitors through the Acer eStore.

The month-long campaign runs from 3 to 31 August and carries the theme SHIFT THE GAME. It also coincides with Acer’s 50th year as a technology company, having been founded in 1976.

Theme aimed at creators and gamers

The SHIFT THE GAME theme is directed at creators, gamers, young innovators and everyday users across the Asia Pacific region. Acer has positioned the campaign as a call for people to challenge norms across culture, work and play.

President of Pan-Asia Pacific Operations at Acer, Andrew Hou, described the thinking behind the campaign.

“Acer is committed to providing technology that not only keeps up with how people learn, create and play, but also gives them the edge to go further,” Hou stated.

“Through this year’s Acer Day celebration, Acer is putting the right tools in the hands of the individuals, empowering them to shift the game.”

The theme is built around the idea of thinking differently and creating boldly, targeting a generation that Acer says is unwilling to be boxed in by convention.

A milestone year for the brand

The company’s product range spans computers and displays, with Acer also pursuing opportunities in sustainability and new business areas.
