Acer has introduced new models in its Swift Copilot+ PC range, powered by Intel Core Ultra processors. The new Swift 14 Ai and Swift 16 Ai laptops aim to provide a balance of performance, battery life, and next-generation Ai capabilities.
The Swift 14 Ai and Swift 16 Ai are Acer’s first models to incorporate Intel Core Ultra processors. These processors support up to 48 TOPS (Trillions of Operations Per Second) of Ai performance, allowing the laptops to handle demanding Ai-related tasks.
James Lin, General Manager of Notebooks at Acer Inc., explained, “The debut of these Intel Core Ultra-powered Ai PCs brings a significant improvement to how customers can use Ai to enhance their daily tasks.” He added, “The latest Swift Copilot+ PCs help users stay organised, be more productive, and enjoy their devices in both work and personal settings.”
Michelle Johnston Holthaus, Intel’s executive vice president and general manager of the Client Computing Group, said, “Today’s fast-paced work environment requires laptops that deliver high performance, extended battery life, and advanced security. The Acer Swift 14 Ai and Swift 16 Ai meet these needs with a combination of intelligent hardware and efficient processing.”
Powerful Ai Processing with Security Features

The new Acer Swift 14 Ai and Swift 16 Ai models feature Intel Core Ultra processors, which optimise performance across the CPU, Intel Arc graphics, and neural processing unit (NPU). This enables smooth acceleration of generative Ai tasks and creations. The processors combine performance and efficiency, with new P-cores and E-cores, to handle heavy workloads while maintaining battery life.
Both models include advanced security features, with biometric security and multiple layers of protection integrated into the hardware and software. The Intel Partner Security Engine preserves data confidentiality and code integrity during Ai workloads.
Additionally, the laptops are secured-core PCs, incorporating the Microsoft Pluton security processor for chip-to-cloud security. Users can log in through biometric options, including a fingerprint reader and facial recognition via a 1440p QHD IR webcam. Acer’s User Sensing technology also ensures that the screen locks automatically when users move away and wakes when they return.
Premium Design and Features

The Swift 14 Ai and Swift 16 Ai are designed with a premium aluminium chassis, offering a sleek and modern aesthetic. The laptops are lightweight and feature a 180-degree hinge for ease of use. The touchpad includes an Ai Activity Indicator, which lights up when the NPU or Copilot is activated.
The displays are a key feature of these models, with OLED panels offering 90 Hz refresh rates, high colour accuracy, and HDR TrueBlack 500 certification. The Swift 14 Ai offers 14-inch 3K or 2K OLED displays, while the Swift 16 Ai comes with a 16-inch 3K OLED screen. Both models are Eyesafe 2.0 certified, reducing blue light emissions, and are available with an IPS touch display option for more interactive use.
Ai Apps for Enhanced Productivity
Acer’s Swift Ai laptops include Ai-powered apps designed to make tasks easier and more efficient. The AcerSense key provides one-touch access to various Ai features, including Acer LiveArt and Acer Assist. Acer Assist helps users search through and summarise documents while maintaining data security.

The laptops also feature Ai-enhanced conferencing tools, such as Acer PurifiedView 2.0 and PurifiedVoice 2.0, which improve video and audio quality during virtual meetings. These features work in conjunction with the 1440p QHD IR webcam and triple microphone array.
The Copilot+ Ai experience will be available later this year through free updates, further enhancing the laptops’ capabilities.
Sustainable Design and Performance
The Swift 14 Ai and Swift 16 Ai come with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD storage, ensuring fast performance and sufficient storage for various applications. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI 2.1, and two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support.
Acer’s commitment to sustainability is evident in these models. The laptops use post-consumer recycled plastics, ship with 100 per cent recycled packaging, and are EPEAT Gold-registered as part of Acer’s Earthion initiative.
