Asus has announced that its ExpertBook P5, the company’s first Copilot+ PC tailored for SMBs, is now available in Australia and New Zealand. Designed with modern professionals in mind, the device combines Ai-driven productivity features and business-grade security with sustainable design.

Ai-Driven Productivity Features
The Asus ExpertBook P5 incorporates Ai ExpertMeet, an on-device assistant designed to enhance collaboration and streamline workflows. Key features include Ai-powered meeting tools, real-time translations, and secure watermarking during video calls.
The Ai Meeting Minutes feature records meetings, providing real-time transcripts, translations, and summaries. The Ai Translation tool supports seamless multi-language communication, while the Business Watermark feature enhances data security during screen sharing. Additional tools like Ai Audio and Ai Camera provide clarity and functionality during virtual meetings.
The device also boasts an Intel Core Ultra processor with up to 47 NPU TOPS, delivering up to three times the Ai performance compared to its predecessor.
Built for Security
Security is a priority for the ExpertBook P5, which includes Asus ExpertGuardian. This suite incorporates a business-grade BIOS compliant with NIST SP 800-155 standards, Windows 11 Secured-core PC technologies, and integrated biometric login with FIDO2 authentication. The laptop also features Adaptive Lock, using an infrared camera to automatically secure the device when the user steps away.
The device includes a complimentary one-year McAfee+ Premium membership, offering advanced threat detection, including Ai-powered tools for identifying deepfakes and phishing attempts.
Sustainability and Durability
The ExpertBook P5 has been designed with sustainability in mind, featuring increased use of recycled materials and a modular design that helps reduce e-waste. Circular Transition Indicators (CTI) measure and enhance the device’s environmental performance, aligning with business sustainability goals.
Weighing just 1.29 kg, the laptop meets US MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability standards, undergoing tests for temperature extremes, shocks, vibrations, and spills. The aluminium chassis ensures resilience without compromising portability.
Battery and Performance
The ExpertBook P5 provides up to 28 hours of battery life, complemented by fast-charging technology capable of powering the device from 5 per cent to 60 per cent in under 49 minutes. Asus’s enhanced cooling design maintains performance even during prolonged use.

ExpertCare and Service Support
Asus offers an ExpertCare Guarantee, which provides AUD $500 in compensation for hardware faults requiring repair within the first year. The company also ensures minimal downtime through a comprehensive service network, including onsite warranty repairs.
The laptop’s design allows for easy servicing, enabling system administrators to maintain and upgrade components with minimal effort.
Expansion of the P Series
Asus has also introduced the ExpertBook P1, a compact and lightweight option for professionals. It features Ai ExpertMeet, Intel Core i7 processors, dual RAM support up to 64GB, and a 1TB storage capacity. Weighing 1.42 kg, the P1 is equipped with a fingerprint sensor and TPM 2.0 chip for enhanced data security.
Pricing and Availability
The ExpertBook P5 and P1 are available through the Asus E-Shop and select resellers. Prices for the models start at $1,349 for the P1 and $2,299 for the P5.
