Asus To Host Unlock The ROG Lab Event In Sydney

Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced it will host a free, open-to-public event in Sydney this October, offering gamers the opportunity to experience its latest hardware, collaborations and community activities.

Unlock the ROG Lab – Sydney 2025 will take place on 18 and 19 October at the Harajuku Gyoza Beer Stadium in Darling Harbour. The event will feature hardware showcases, gaming competitions, giveaways and a pop-up store.

Hands-On With Rog Hardware

Visitors will have the chance to test a range of ROG technology including Powered by Asus gaming PCs, ROG gaming gear and ROG OLED monitors.

The showcase will provide attendees with a hands-on preview of ROG’s latest peripherals and high-performance rigs designed for eSports and high-end gaming.

“Unlock the ROG Lab is about more than just showcasing products. It’s about giving players a chance to immerse themselves in ROG’s innovation and connect with the community,” an Asus spokesperson said.

Hatsune Miku Collaboration

A major highlight will be the ROG x Hatsune Miku collaboration. The limited-edition collection blends ROG performance with the design of the Japanese virtual pop star.

Attendees will be able to view the full lineup of the collaboration and also enter a competition to win a complete ROG x Hatsune Miku setup. The package includes a custom-built PC, a Strix gaming monitor and Asus x Hatsune Miku TUF Gaming peripherals.

Competitions And Community

The event will include the ROG 4v4 Arena, where players can test their skills in team matches. Free-to-play games, cosplay appearances and photo opportunities are also on the schedule.

A ROG Stamp Rally will encourage attendees to visit different parts of the venue, with prizes including food vouchers for Harajuku Gyoza.

Prizes and giveaways will be offered across the two days, and the ROG Store pop-up shop will provide exclusive event-only merchandise and discounts.
