Asus has launched its latest flagship business laptop, the ExpertBook Ultra, positioning it as a, ‘high-performance mobile computing platform aimed at professionals working across demanding and mobile workflows.’
The new model pairs Intel’s Core Ultra X9 processors with ‘Ai productivity tools, advanced security and sustainability features’ and a lightweight design starting at 1KG.
Lightweight Chassis, Military-Grade Durability
At the heart of the ExpertBook Ultra is a minimalist chassis made from CNC-machined magnesium-aluminium alloy, finished using Nano Ceramic technology. It is available in Jet Fog and Morn Grey colourways.
Despite weighing a smidge under 1KG and measuring just 11mm thick, the device remains sturdy enough to meet US military-grade durability standards.
It also houses a relatively large 70Wh battery with an unconventional layout: splitting four battery cells into two pairs to operate at a lower 7.8V voltage. This approach improves efficiency by reducing power conversion waste and freeing up internal space for cooling components.
The ExpertBook Ultra supports up to an Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 processor, delivering up to 50 TOPS of neural processing unit (NPU) performance for on-device Ai tasks and business applications.
Thermal performance is managed using Asus’ ExpertCool Pro technology, designed to support sustained 50W TDP workloads. Asus says the cooling design, “Balances temperature control with acoustic efficiency to maintain a quieter working environment.”
Tandem Touchscreen And Atmos Audio
Visuals are delivered through a 3K tandem OLED touchscreen that reaches up to 1,400-nits HDR brightness, with Gorilla Glass Victus and a matte finish to protect the screen while reducing reflections.
The ExpertBook Ultra features a six-speaker system with Dolby Atmos tuning, supported by two dual-magnetic woofers and two tweeters. The haptic touchpad offers precision input and the keyboard includes a skin-friendly UV excimer coating for extended typing sessions.
Built-In Ai Features With MyExpert
Asus is positioning MyExpert, its in-house productivity suite, as a key part of the laptop’s value proposition. It provides natural-language Ai support for document summarisation, meeting transcription, translation, and writing enhancements.

MyExpert also includes local and cloud file search, task automation, and secure collaboration features, aiming to simplify workflows for business users and knowledge workers.
Security With Post-Quantum Cryptography
Enterprise customers are a core target for the ExpertBook Ultra, and Asus has included its ExpertGuardian security platform, which aligns with NIST SP 800-193 standards.
ExpertGuardian includes firmware protections that detect unauthorised changes and supports post-quantum cryptographic algorithms, including ML-KEM and ML-DSA, to help future-proof device security in response to emerging quantum threats.
Environmental Claims And Circular Economy
The new device also integrates the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) frameworks. These digital tools are designed to increase lifecycle transparency, giving businesses more detail about the environmental footprint of the devices they procure.
The laptop is built using up to 90 per cent recycled magnesium-aluminium alloy, 30–35 per cent recycled plastic, and 100 per cent recycled rare-earth magnets.
Asus said the design reflects its efforts to align with circular economy principles while maintaining performance and durability for business-grade hardware.
