Huawei has opened a new, Apple-like store at The Glen Shopping Centre, 235 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley – its fourth in Australia. It has forty PC, audio and wearable products available to try and buy.
The Melbourne store joins a global portfolio of 35,000 stores globally and more are planned for Australia.
The following recent releases are available:
- Huawei’s four brand-new health-focused wearables – WATCH GT 3 Pro, WATCH D, WATCH FIT 2 and BAND 7
- Huawei’s stylish ‘Sound Joy’ portable speaker
- 40 high-tech PC, audio, and wearable products are available to touch, try and buy
- Huawei’s Matebooks will be available
Huawei told High Performance Laptops, that While lockdowns initially threw a spanner into Huawei’s rapid expansion plans in Australia, the company settled on the perfect spot after Melbourne’s longest lockdown late last year bringing the tally of Huawei stores in Australia to a total of four, including its three Sydney brick and mortar stores.
Managing Director of Huawei Consumer Business in Australia, Dickson Yang, said, “Huawei has
ambitious long-term goals in Australia, with plans to see more store openings across the country. The objective has always been to grow our presence in Australia, but due to the pandemic, our expansion was slightly stunted but now that the future looks bright, we are looking to expand into other states if there are no major disruptions.”
Huawei’s End of Financial Year (EOFY) offer will be available in store for two weeks (6th July to 20th July 2022) offering discounts and offers.
