Lenovo unveils new laptops at Mobile World Congress 2023

New Lenovo chromebook

Lenovo also launched its next-generation IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook with a MediaTek Kompanio 500 Series processor, targeting those seeking value-driven essentials that fit modern nomadic work and lifestyles.

The 14-inch laptop is available with an FHD IPS touchscreen and is designed to be thin and light, weighing just 1.3KG and offers all-day battery life of up to 13.5 hours and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

Compared to previous generations, this 3-series Chromebook is packed with a range of upgraded features that go beyond its brighter 100 per cent sRGB screen options.

With front-facing speakers tuned by Waves MaxxAudio, a full-functioned Type-C port, an FHD webcam option with physical shutter, and the inclusion of a dedicated mute key, it’s ready to take on work, play, study and more.

The MediaTek Kompanio 500 Series processor features an octa-core CPU with Arm Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores, plus a powerful Arm Mali-G57 GPU. The CPU has a clock speed of up to 2.5GHz, while the GPU delivers up to 25% faster graphics performance than previous generations, making it ideal for demanding workloads.
