MSI launches new 12th Gen business laptops at MSIology March 2022 event

MSI has announced its new Summit, Prestige and Modern series business laptops with 12^th Gen Intel processors. The Summit and Prestige series are Intel EVO certified due to their lightweight design, rapid response and long-lasting batteries. They also feature Nvidia GPUs. There’s an updated Summit Flip and, for the Modern series, French illustrator, Lorraine Sorlet, has created four, special-edition designs.

Summit Series

The Summit Series has nominally been MSI’s, ‘Top-of-the-line Business & Productivity laptop.’ However, it was only the recent 11^th Gen Summit E16 Flip  that came close to living up to this claim. Now, a new 14-inch Summit E14 Flip Evo joins it and the Summit E13 Flip Evo.

The display now comes protected by Tobii Aware which automatically locks the laptop if the user is not nearby or blurs the screen when someone snoops behind you.

Other enterprise-grade security features of the range include webcam and port locks, TPM module support for fingerprint and IR webcam and webcam status notification. If it gets lost, integrated Tile finding technology (with the free Tile app), activates and locates it.

Prestige Series

We’ve been big big fans of MSI’s Prestige series which offers great looks and gaming potential in an ultraportable body. Both the new Prestige 15 and Prestige 14 offer a thin-and-light chassis for portability but have improved thermal performance. There’s also DTS Audio Processing which provides higher bit-rate encoding. Both are available with integrated Intel or discreet Nvidia graphics. There’s now Windows Hello face and fingerprint sign-on. Battery life is increased and there’s fast charging.

Modern Series
