Asus Republic of Gamers has announced a new collaboration with Kojima Productions, unveiling a limited-edition lineup of gaming hardware and peripherals at CES 2026 that blends high-performance PC design with the visual language of the game studio’s Ludens universe.
The partnership centres on a customised version of the ROG Flow Z13 gaming tablet, alongside a matching range of peripherals, all developed in collaboration with Kojima Productions’ Art Director, Yoji Shinkawa.
Hardware Meets Creative Identity

The collaboration brings together the ROG brand ethos of performance-focused experimentation with Kojima Productions’ long-running theme of play, creativity and exploration.
Asus said the joint effort was guided by the idea of Ludens, positioning players not just as consumers of games but as creators and experimenters who push boundaries.
The Flow Z13-KJP gaming tablet acts as the centrepiece of the range, designed to reflect that philosophy through both its hardware capabilities and its industrial design.
Flow Z13-KJP Designed Around Ludens
The Flow Z13-KJP is a 2-in-1 gaming tablet powered by an AMD Ryzen Ai Max+ 395 processor with Radeon 8060S graphics. The chip combines 16 CPU cores with 40 GPU compute units and delivers up to 50 TOPS of NPU performance, enabling local execution of Ai workloads alongside gaming and creative tasks.
Unlike traditional laptop designs, the Z13-KJP uses a unified memory architecture, allowing CPU and GPU resources to dynamically access a shared pool of up to 128GB of memory.
The device features a 13.4-inch 2.5K Nebula Display with a 180Hz refresh rate and 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour coverage. A detachable keyboard allows the system to shift between tablet, laptop and creative modes.
Asus said the design makes the device suitable for gaming, illustration, video editing and portable work without relying on cloud-based Ai services.
Yoji Shinkawa Shapes The Visual Language
The external design of the Flow Z13-KJP was led by Yoji Shinkawa, whose artwork has been closely associated with Kojima Productions’ titles.

“I wanted to create a gadget that belongs to Ludens, and I integrated that into this PC design,” Shinkawa said.
“Parts and designs are inspired by Ludens and have its essence.”
The CNC-milled aluminium chassis includes angular cut-outs, carbon fibre elements and custom typography. Asus has also bundled exclusive packaging, a themed carry case, a customised power adapter and a bespoke Armoury Crate interface.
Portable Power Without Cloud Dependence
Asus said the inclusion of a 50 TOPS NPU allows users to run large language models and other Ai workloads locally, improving privacy and reducing reliance on remote services.
The company positioned the Flow Z13-KJP as a device for users who want desktop-class capability in a highly portable form factor, particularly for creative workflows that benefit from high refresh rates and colour accuracy.
Matching Peripheral Collection
Alongside the tablet, Asus introduced a limited-edition peripheral lineup designed to complement the Flow Z13-KJP.
The range includes the ROG Delta II-KJP headset, ROG Keris II Origin-KJP mouse and ROG Scabbard II XXL-KJP mouse mat. Each product features a white, grey and gold colour scheme inspired by Ludens, with hand-drawn artwork by Shinkawa.
The ROG Delta II-KJP headset carries over ROG’s latest audio platform, while adopting the collaboration’s distinctive visual styling. The Keris II Origin-KJP mouse focuses on lightweight ergonomics and precision, while the oversized Scabbard II XXL-KJP mouse mat features a prominent Ludens outline.
All peripherals carry the phrase “For Ludens Who Dare”, blending the slogans of both brands.
Focus On Fans And Collectors
Asus said the collaboration was designed with long-time Kojima Productions fans in mind, positioning the hardware as both functional gaming equipment and collectible items.
The company has not yet confirmed pricing or regional availability for Australia but indicated the lineup will be produced in limited quantities.
The ROG x Kojima Productions range forms part of Asus’ broader CES 2026 strategy, which emphasises Ai-capable hardware, portable performance and deeper collaboration between gaming technology and creative culture.
