Asus And ASI Solutions To Supply 8,500 Chromebooks To ACT Schools In 2026

Asus and ASI Solutions have secured a contract with the ACT Education Directorate to deliver more than 8,500 Chromebooks to public schools next year in a deal that reinforces the territory’s focus on technology-led learning.

The partnership will supply fully configured 12.2‑inch Asus Flip and Touch Chromebooks for deployment across classrooms in 2026. The devices are being positioned as durable, education-grade hardware suited to daily use in high‑demand environments.

Large-Scale Rollout Backed By Services And Warranty

The Flip and Touch model selected for the rollout includes a garaged stylus, reinforced casing and a flexible hinge designed for both group work and individual study. Each device will be covered by a three-year next business day on-site service warranty with battery support and access to Asus repair services.

The company said the package is intended to keep downtime low across thousands of units as the fleet is integrated into school networks.

Head of Commercial, Leon Brumen, said the partnership aligns product capability with local delivery expertise.

“Our strategic partnership with ASI Solutions is key to providing reliable technology solutions for ACT Education,” he said. “By integrating ASI’s expertise with Asus products, service and warranty, we guarantee students reliable, high-quality devices essential for supporting their learning outcomes.”

He said the rollout is designed to support thousands of students across the territory.

ASI Solutions To Lead Deployment Work

ASI Solutions will handle configuration, staging and ongoing support. The provider said schools will receive devices set up and ready for immediate classroom use.

Director Justin Lowe said coordination across procurement, configuration and support shaped the project’s delivery model.

“We’re proud to secure this tender and deepen our partnership with Asus,” he said. “Through our services, devices are precisely configured and ready for immediate deployment demonstrating our commitment to enhancing educational outcomes across the ACT.”

He said the project highlights the value of combined vendor and channel capability when managing device fleets at scale.

Positioning For Future Government And Education Tenders

The organisations expect the deployment to create momentum for future education and government procurements through 2026. Both see the project as evidence that integrated vendor and channel partnerships can support large-scale rollouts in environments that require consistency, rapid deployment and long-term servicing.

The Directorate will continue its broader program of device adoption as schools move toward one‑to‑one access models and expand digital resources across the curriculum.
