The Asia Pacific Predator League, one of the region’s top eSports tournament circuits, announced its 2024 return with a prize pool that includes over US$400,000, the Predator Shield and other Acer Predator products.
Known as a platform for budding eSports professionals, the Asia Pacific Predator League has, since its 2018 debut, seen participation from over 15,000 teams across the APAC region.
This year’s tournament focuses on Australia’s Valorant talents, with online qualifier rounds paving the way for (up to) 16 teams to showcase their skills and possibly propel their professional journey.
A Predator rep said, “The Australian rounds have always been about discovering hidden talent. It’s more than just a game; it’s about building a community and a legacy.”
The competitive process will see registered teams divided into two segments for the Group Stage. It’s a rigorous journey as teams go head-to-head in a best-of-three, double elimination format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Local Final Qualifiers.
Acer Predator will be streaming the matches live on its Facebook page. The Group Valorant Oceanic Qualifiers is scheduled for 7:00pm AEST on 9th October 2023. The Local Final Qualifiers, will subsequently be held at 7:30pm AEST on 17th November 2023. The victorious Australian team will fly the flag for Australia at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2023 Grand Finals in the Philippines in early 2024.
Prospective teams are encouraged to get their acts together quickly. The registration window for the Valorant Oceanic Qualifiers is limited and will close its doors on 6th October 2023. Click here to apply.
