Asus has launched its 2026 range of AI-powered laptops in Australia, headlined by the second-generation Zenbook DUO with its dual 14-inch OLED touchscreens and a series of lightweight Zenbooks that push below the one-kilogram mark.
The lineup spans the Zenbook and Vivobook families, with prices starting at $1,599 for the Vivobook 16 and climbing to $6,499 for the top-spec Zenbook DUO. All models are available now or arriving in the coming weeks through the Asus Store and select retail partners.
At the centre of the range is a new generation of AI processors from AMD, Intel and Qualcomm, with all models positioned as Copilot+ PCs running Microsoft’s AI features natively.
Dual screens return, refined
The Zenbook DUO is now in its second generation and arrives with a series of hardware changes driven by feedback from the first model. The device features two full 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreens running at 144Hz, thinner bezels and a more compact hinge design that draws the two displays closer together.

A new dual-battery system addresses one of the trade-offs inherent in running two screens, distributing power so that neither display drains the other disproportionately.
The chassis is built from Asus’s Ceraluminum material, a ceramic-coated aluminium alloy that the company has now expanded across its entire Zenbook range, up from a single model in 2024.
A hideaway hinge, integrated kickstand and keyboard docking system allow the DUO to be reconfigured for different working arrangements. It runs on Intel Core Ultra processors and ships with Asus’s ScreenXpert software, which auto-activates cross-screen sharing tools.
Pricing for the Zenbook DUO starts at $6,399 for the Intel Core Ultra X7 model arriving in May, rising to $6,499 for the Core Ultra X9 variant due in April.
Ultraportables target the side-hustle economy
Asus is pitching its Zenbook A series directly at Australians who juggle multiple roles and income streams.
The company points to Westpac research showing that 27 per cent of Australians are currently earning money through a side hustle or micro-business, with a further 28 per cent considering launching one in the next 12 months.

Bradley Howe, Head of Consumer at Asus Australia, framed the lineup around that trend.
“Australians don’t compartmentalise their lives, and their technology shouldn’t either,” Howe explained.
“This new generation of AI-powered laptops are built around that reality. Whether you’re deep in a deadline, lost in a creative project, or simply unwinding, these devices adapt to you. That’s what intelligent computing should feel like, and that’s exactly what we’re bringing to Australia.”
Sub-1KG computing with 32-hour battery

The Zenbook A14 weighs under 1KG and claims up to 32 hours of local video playback from a single charge. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite processor with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and a WUXGA OLED display. Pricing starts at $3,499 for the 16GB model and $3,699 for the 32GB configuration, both arriving on April 8.
The larger Zenbook A16 comes in at 1.2KG with a 16-inch 3K OLED 120Hz non-touch display, also powered by a Snapdragon X2 Elite chip with 48GB of memory. It is priced at $4,299 and arrives April 8.
Both models are built with Ceraluminum chassis construction.
Zenbook S gets a redesign

Rounding out the Zenbook family, the redesigned Zenbook S series features an ultrathin profile with CNC-milled construction and OLED displays on select models.
The Zenbook S14, priced at $4,999, pairs a 14-inch 3K OLED 120Hz touchscreen with an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H ‘Panther Lake‘ processor, 32GB of memory and 1TB of storage. It is available now in a new Antrim Grey finish. Its Lunar Lake-based predecessor won High Performance Laptops Laptop of the Year award in 2024.
The Zenbook S16 comes in two configurations. The AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 model with a 16-inch 3K OLED touchscreen is priced at $4,699, while the Ryzen AI 7 445 variant comes in at $3,999. Both are available now.
For those after a more affordable entry point to the Zenbook line, the standard Zenbook 14 starts at $1,899 for a non-touch OLED model with AMD Ryzen AI 5 430 and runs up to $2,999 for a touchscreen version with Ryzen AI 7 445 and 32GB of memory. All Zenbook 14 models are available now.
Vivobook S brings AI features to lower price points
The Vivobook S series is positioned as the accessible entry point to Asus’s AI PC ecosystem, with models starting at $2,299.
The Vivobook S14 pairs a 14-inch WUXGA OLED display with an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor, 32GB of DDR5 memory and 1TB of storage for $2,299. The Vivobook S16 is available in two configurations: an Intel model at $2,799 and an AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 variant at $2,299. Both feature 16-inch FHD OLED panels.
All Vivobook S models include AI noise cancellation for calls, facial recognition for login and Dolby Atmos audio.
Larger Vivobooks fill out the range
The broader Vivobook lineup includes the Vivobook 18, an 18-inch model with a 144Hz display, AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor and 16GB of memory at $2,099. The Vivobook 16 offers a 16-inch WUXGA display with the same processor for $1,599, making it the most affordable laptop in the 2026 range.
OLED expansion across the board
Asus continues to expand its Lumina OLED display technology across price points. OLED panels now feature on models from the $1,899 Zenbook 14 through to the $6,499 Zenbook DUO, though the entry-level Vivobook 16 and Vivobook 18 use standard LCD panels.
ProArt for creators
The range also includes the ProArt GoPro Edition, a 13.3-inch convertible with a 3K OLED touchscreen, AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 ‘Strix Halo’ processor, 128GB of LPDDR5X memory and included stylus. Priced at $5,999, it is available now through the Asus Store.
